EXCLUSIVE! Eddie Redmayne tells Marie Claire he’d consider Fifty Shades of Grey movie

The arrival of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie is one of the most anticipated happenings on the cinematic calendar (even more so than the Oscars) and while countless stars have been rumoured to be up for the roles of Christian Grey, there’s now a new name to add into the mix - Eddie Redmayne.

Ahead of the release of another adaptation, (the rather fantastic) Les Miserables, Marie Claire online caught up with Burberry star, Eddie Redmayne who plays Marius and he refused to rule out a role in Fifty Shades of Grey.

Eddie told us: ‘I know there’s a huge amount of hype around it [the movie] so I definitely never say never.’

That’s proof enough for us! But he’ll need to do some reading first as the actor and former Burberry model told us he hasn’t been seduced by the E.L James’ book and is yet to read it.

He added: ‘I’ve heard so much about this book I see people reading it on the tube and I’m always really impressed that they’re reading it on the tube because it’s kind of kinky.

‘I’m thinking “What are you getting off on on the tube?” I’ve not read it myself.’
