Emma Watson arrived at Radio 1 to talk about new film The Perks of Being a Wallflower
Emma Watson tackled the rain, the dark and her early morning appearance on Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 breakfast show by dressing for comfort.
The Harry Potter actress is in London to promote her new movie, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and her first stop was to chat to Grimmy on his newly acquired breakfast show.
Dressed very conservatively (it was only 8am) Emma arrived at the studios dressed in a simple white top, black skinnies, matching black blazer, a black winter coat and designer specs.

Speaking to Grimshaw about her new film, she revealed that she can’t watch any of the kissing scenes: ‘It’s really funny because when I watch the film back, there are a few things I can’t watch. I can’t watch the Rocky Horror dancing scene, and I can’t watch the kissing scenes.’
She added: ‘This film really pushed me out of my comfort zone. I told the director that I have just come from playing Hermione Granger and you are expecting me to dance and putting me in corsets, and it’s difficult.’
Emma has a string of filmed interviews lined up for later in the day and we’ll look forward to seeing what fabulous look she pulls together for them.
The 22-year-old has said that she took the role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower because she wanted to show that she could transform, following her super-famous turn as Hermione in the Harry Potter series.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower will be released in the UK on October 3. Watch a trailer below:
