DAVID BECKHAM'S CHRISTMAS PRESENT TO WIFE VICTORIA REVEALED!

Who needs mugs of hot chocolate and a cosy fire when you can spend Christmas luxuriating on the beach?

The Sun reports that Becks will be spending £250,000 on whisking wife Victoria, sons Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, 7, and one-year-old daughter Harper off to paradise, booking the most expensive suite in the posh One&Only Reethi Rah resort in the Maldives, at £8,600 a night, as well as three additional suites at £3,700 a night.

According to the publication, they flew to the Indian Ocean island yesterday, and took a private plane to their hotel, where they will enjoy tennis, scuba diving and fishing as well as a spa boasting: 'swirling vitality pools, crystal steam rooms, saunas and stimulating ice fountains.'

A source told the Sun: 'It's the best resort in the Maldives and they are staying in the most expensive rooms.'

Even though the Beckham clan will be spending Christmas in luxe surroundings, we hear Victoria will be getting a present that even mere mortals can expect under the tree tomorrow: pyjamas. Of course, VB's will be silk and designed by Newcastle native Olivia de Halle, retailing at £260 a pair.
