Cheryl Cole tells Simon Cowell: I'll quit X Factor if Dannii goes
Cheryl Cole has reportedly told Simon Cowell she’ll quit The X Factor if he replaces Dannii Minogue with a new judge.
Simon has reportedly been planning to ditch Dannii in favour of a new face for this year’s series – but, The Sun reports, she’s found an unlikely ally in Cheryl, who’s put paid to any rumours of a rift with the Aussie star by protesting her sacking.
A source said: ‘Cheryl told Simon straight – if it’s not her and Dannii together, then he’s looking for two new stars.
‘There’s no way he will let them both go.’
Cheryl Cole has become a favourite on the show, after replacing Sharon Osbourne.
The last series was a bigger success than ever, and Simon knows a lot of that is down to Cheryl.
But she is reportedly concerned she might not get on with the new judge.
Stars rumoured to be being considered for Dannii’s hot seat include Charlotte Church, Destiny’s Child superstar Kelly Rowland, Victoria Beckham and Lily Allen, who Cheryl once branded a “‘chick with a d**k’.
