Kimberley Walsh is expecting her first child with boyfriend Justin Scott.

The former Girls Aloud singer, 32, announced her pregnancy on Twitter this afternoon - and her BFF and former bandmate Cheryl Cole was thrilled to finally have the news out in the open.

'Justin and I are so happy to let you all know we are having a baby!!! Couldn't wait to share our lovely news with you all,' the mum-to-be tweeted.

Just minutes later, Cheryl took to Instagram to express her overwhelming happiness for her longtime friend. 'Finally! I am able to share some of the BEST NEWS EVER!!! Kimberley and Justin are expecting their first baby together. It has been both one of the most exciting and yet hardest things to keep in!!
