Britney Spears has reportedly signed a contract with Caesars Palace, Las Vegas

Britney Spears is heading to Las Vegas for her next carefully carved out career move, according to her manager Larry Rudolph. Yesterday, he finally put an end to speculation over whether the singer would sign with a top casino, revealing a deal is almost done.

Larry confirmed the news to Extra who report Britney has officially signed up and committed to residency with one of two casinos. It’s believed the former X Factor US judge will now decide between the two venues, one of which is owned by the famous Caesars Entertainment Group.

Britney Spears has been linked with Caesars Palace but it’s believed this was merely rumours with some reports suggesting she’d signed a $100 million (£63.7m) deal to perform at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum.

Whatever option Britney takes she’s following some of pop music’s greats - Celine Dion, Sir Elton John and Shania Twain all have residencies at the Colosseum.

Britney is expected to officially unveil her new residency later this month, although through Twitter she dropped a pretty large hint at the news posting from her dog Hannah’s account: ‘Mommy, are dogs allowed to gamble in vegas? Gonna cash all my bones in for chips.[sic]’

To which Britney replied from her account saying: ‘I don’t think so honey #VivaLasVegas.’
