Singer has returned her $90k engagement ring
Britney Spears has ended her engagement to Jason Trawick but says she will 'always adore' him and they will 'remain great friends'.
The singer has called time on her relationship with her former manager Jason as it's claimed their once strong relationship had fizzled into more of a friendship and they had been sleeping in separate bedrooms.
Sources also say that the pair clashed over Britney's desire to have more children with TMZ stating that Jason is 'in another place' and doesn't want to start a family - although 'loves' her boys Sean Preston and Jayden James, her sons with ex Kevin Federline.
Jason proposed to the pop princess over a year ago in Las Vegas, 19 months after confirming they were dating.
Britney, who has returned her $90k engagement ring to Trawick, said in a statement: 'Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I'll always adore him and we will remain great friends.'

Jason added: 'As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever.'
The news comes as Britney also confirms her departure from the X Factor USA series where she got weak reviews for her role as a judge, but it looks like she has landed herself one rather lucrative new deal.
The former child star is said to be near to signing a long-running concert show deal at the Colloseum at Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas where the likes of Cher and Celine Dion earned around $100 million each a year.
