Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski have secretly married

There must be something in the Hollywood air lately. Celebrities left, right and centre are bucking the trend of a huge, media-documented wedding in place of small, extremely private and stealthily secret ceremonies.

Adele was the first celebrity to confess that she had chosen to wed in secret when she revealed she is already married her long-term partner, Simon Konecki, following a slip of the tongue during her Grammy's acceptance speech, and then later at one of her gigs in Brisbane, Australia.

Dave Franco and Alison Brie then confirmed that they, too, had opted to tie the knot away from the spotlight earlier this month.

And now it seems that Mean Girl Amanda Seyfried has followed suit, marrying her partner, Thomas Sadoski, in a secret ceremony last weekend.

Sadoski appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden, where he nonchalantly flashed his wedding ring and referred to Amanda as his 'wife.'

The actor then admitted: 'We eloped. We just took off into the country with an officiant and just the two of us, and we did our thing.'

He then went on to say that the day was 'perfect' and that they 'had a great day'. Aww.

'Listen, she's the person I love, admire, respect most in the world,' he gushed, before joking: 'I know that you guys are close friends, and I know that she would want you to know, so don't tell anyone.'

The couple announced their engagement in September, and two months later announced that Amanda was pregnant with their first child. Although she has not commented on when she is due, reports suggest it could be in the next couple of months. There are so many celebrity babies coming this year, we can't keep up...
