And it’s something Kate Middleton would wear

When the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a red Alexander McQueen dress in Berlin last week, no one was expecting it. Why? Because thanks to its off-the-shoulder design, it was a bit of a departure from Kate’s usual style, but that aside, the chiffon dress was really quite special.

Sadly, it’s now sold out. But, when scrolling through the new in section on the M&S website this morning, we noticed this Bardot maxi dress.

With its cinched waist and full skirt, it’s as pretty as Kate’s dress, and has a friendly price tag too.

If you’ve still got a few weddings to go to this summer, we suggest pairing it with some scrappy sandals and statement earrings, or if you’re wearing it around the office, then it’ll look lovely with a pair of delicate wedges.

The dress is part of the new season M&S Collection and has just dropped, so luckily it’s still available in all sizes, but we don’t see it lasting too long, so it might be worth snapping it up if you’re keen.

And in case you were wondering, one user has already left a review for the dress online, giving it a full 5/5 for quality, value for money, fit and style, saying they would definitely recommend it.

Glowing review indeed.
