Tulisa Contostavlos and Nicole Scherzinger have gone head-to-head in the fashion stakes as the X Factor 2012 kicks off with a press launch in London.
Showcasing their two very different styles, Tulisa opted for a skin-tight Herve Leger bodycon dress in citrus hues while new judge Nicole went for a more demure white shift dress during the event at the Corinthia Hotel this morning.

Caroline Flack also attended looking chic in a black playsuit with a studded Peter Pan collar, while Louis Walsh and Dermot O'Leary looked dapper in sharp suits.
Noticeably absent from the launch was head judge Gary Barlow who has cancelled his X Factor appearances for the time being following the tragic death of his daughter, Poppy, who was stillborn at eight months just last week.
