Posh to appear on Ramsay Cookalong
Victoria Beckham will be adding a bit of Posh Spice to Gordon Ramsay's upcoming Cookalong Live.
The pint-sized popstrel-turned-fashionista will guest-star on her pal's series to help show the nation how to make a healthy, cheap meal for the family.
But surely Victoria doesn't cook her own meals? We hear you cry. According to Gordon, that's not true. He told The Sun: 'Victoria can cook. We went round to dinner at her and David’s recently and we had a great meal. We had a really nice halibut and a yellow tomato soup with pesto.'
The 34-year-old singer is just one of a host of stars lined up to appear on the seven-part Channel 4 show, including Gavin and Stacey star James Corden.
Each week Gordon will invite the audience to join in cooking up a meal for four. Every episode will have a different theme, including curry night, a 1970s theme, and a Christmas menu.
On one episode, Gordon will also demonstrate how to beat the credit crunch by making a hearty meal for the whole family for under a tenner; the menu will include soup, lasagne and a syllabub pudding.
The idea for the show was inspired by Gordon's sister, Diane, 43. 'My sister is a care worker - she hasn’t got £200 a week to spend on food. This will be a proper meal for under a tenner. You can get all the ingredients from your local supermarket.'
Cookalong Live starts at 9pm on 24 October.
