On 27 October we teamed up with Elizabeth Arden to celebrate the launch of The Red Door Experience in the UK with an exclusive, one-off evening of facials, skincare consultations and beauty goodies...
Until now you’d have to catch a flight to NY to enjoy the Red Door experience, not any more. Elizabeth Arden has brought the best of its spa services to London with the opening of its first flagship store in Debenhams, Oxford Street.
On October 27 Marie Claire readers were treated to a night of facials, skincare consultations and beauty advice from Acting Beauty Director (Marie Claire), Sophie Qureshi, and Vice President of Global Education (Elizabeth Arden), Janet Curmi.
Here’s the lowdown of our favourite things from the night…
1. Skincare Treatments Several of Elizabeth Arden's Speed Services were on offer throughout the night. They included their Oxygen Beauty Blast, consisting of a cleanse and tone followed by a refreshing mist, as well as Pampered Hands, a hand massage using Elizabeth Arden's signature Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment and Eight Hour Cream All-Over Miracle Oil. Total, bliss!
2. Make-Up Speed Services
A choice of three make-up stations were also to be enjoyed. Lady Liperty, a unique lip fixer-upper was on hand to give readers an updated lip look whilst Perfect Eyeliner and Perfect Brow showed readers how to achieve the perfect feline flick and statement brow.
3. Drinks & Canapés
GLACEAU Smart Water and Plenish kept guests hydrated throughout the night, with guests also being treated to a selection of tasty canapés which certainly got our seal of approval.
4. Goody Bag
A beauty bag packed full of Elizabeth Arden goodies was given to every reader to take home - worth a whopping £80!
