As the world awaits an announcement on a Brangelina split, our thoughts turn to Jennifer Aniston. Can love with an ex really work out?
New rumours that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are splitting have fuelled speculation that he will get back together with his ex, Jennifer Aniston. But can it work out?
Rumours of discord and an impending split have circulated Brangelina for much of their five years together. But new reports say they have seen lawyers and drawn up a separation agreement working out custody of their six children, and how they will split their fortunes, in order to pave the way to a split.
Last Friday, Brad was photographed backstage at the Hope for Haiti Now telethon in Los Angeles, without Angelina. Jennifer Aniston was at the same event.
Ladbrokes have put the odds on Brad and Jen rekindling their relationship by the end of the year at 10/1.
But can love work second time around?
Hollywood certainly thinks so. Meryl Streep's new film, 'It's Complicated', is all about a couple who split after a long marriage, find new partners – and then have an affair with each other.

But the end is ambiguous – will Meryl's character choose her ex-husband or her new lover? And if she does go back to her ex, can it work long-term? Does the pain of a break-up make it almost impossible to find love again?
And what about Brad and Jen? Are they made for each other? Would they be able to learn from past mistakes and make the relationships work second time around? Or has too much water passed under the bridge?
