Did Netflix just reveal a MASSIVE Gilmore Girls spoiler?
Seriously???
Seriously???
While we wait for Gilmore Girls: A Year in The Life to premiere on Netflix, we might as well read every single fan theory out there. That way we can fantasize about what our favourite characters are like now and, of course, so we can imagine if they end up with another one of our favourite characters. As you can imagine, we’re mostly wondering about Rory and the guys from her past.
The question has always been: Dean, Jess, Logan, or none of the above (because Rory doesn’t need a man to feel complete)?
*SPOILER ALERT*
Thanks to actor David Sutcliffe (who plays Rory’s dad Christopher), we know that Dean is out of the running. 'You know, I liked all the young actors that played her boyfriends,' David told USA Today. 'I know they’re not going to end up together but, Rory and Dean seem like a good couple.' That’s right – according to Sutcliffe, Dean and Rory are a no-go.
Now, it’s between Jess and Logan. But Netflix may have just narrowed down our choices.
Ya know how Netflix is constantly changing their thumbnails? Well, now that Gilmore Girls is available internationally, they’ve updated their thumbnail to feature a character that’s not an actual Gilmore Girl. Instead, it features Jess alongside the Gilmore Girls title – which may be a hint as to what we can expect from the reboot in the future.

However, there’s a more logical (but less exciting) explanation. Netflix is constantly changing their thumbnails to see how users respond to certain images and certain characters. In other words: the streaming service is probably looking to see how people are responding to Jess in the thumb or maybe they want to see if they can attract more male viewers by having a guy in the main image.
Still, we’d like to imagine that someone at Netflix is hinting at the fact that Rory and Jess end up together. Now, let the fan theories begin!
