Yasmin and Amber Le Bon join fashion forces to front the brand’s new campaign

Yasmin Le Bon has made fashion a family affair as she’s announced as the new face of Monsoon, starring alongside her daughter, Amber, in the brand’s spring/summer 2013 campaign.

Just a week before Mother’s Day, the high street store chose to unveil the new images of the Le Bon mother-daughter modelling duo shot in Rajasthan, India - the perfect backdrop to showcase the brand’s floaty fabrics and paisley prints.

But the location also holds a more significant meaning to the high street store – their first ever campaign shoot took place in the city back in 1974.

The new images that see Amber and Yasmin cruising on a boat, wandering through markets and walking under a colourful parasol, have made us want to rush out to book our summer holiday.

The campaign marks Monsoon’s 40th birthday and it’s clear they’ve pulled out all the stops for a season to remember. The images were shot by Anders Overgaard and styled by Bay Garnett to launch the Limited Edition Heritage Collection for Monsoon.
