Karen Millen have just unveiled their spring/summer 2013 campaign with Amber Le Bon as their new star face.
The 23-year-old model, who’s the daughter of Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon and model wife Yasmin, is seen in a series of striking shots wearing key pieces from the new collection.
She sports edgy slicked back hair and sultry make-up as she poses in a studio surrounded by giant spheres and mirrored stools. The minimalist set matches the streamlined urban feel of the upcoming range, which includes white polka dot dresses, leather biker jackets and skinny jeans – all worn by Amber in the ads.
Gemma Metheringham, managing and creative director of Karen Millen, said: ‘We look for someone confident with a strong personality to be the face of our seasonal campaign. We chose Amber as not only is she very beautiful, she is also highly creative and dedicates some of her time to high profile charity work. This interesting blend embodies the modern confident spirit of the Karen Millen woman.’
