Dannii Minogue was the first lady in red to give the design it's high-profile debut, donning the frock for an appearance on the X Factor stage back in October last year.
The judge teamed her ruffle-front frock with matching ruby heels, a chunky cocktail ring and a gravity-defying quiffed updo.
Fast foward a few months, and Vanessa Hudgens was snapped wearing the very same dress - to view the Marchesa Autumn/Winter 2011 collection during New York Fashion Week last month.
The High School Musical alumni accessorised the standout frock with towering tan platforms, vampish nail varnish and her glossy brunette curls.
