Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga wowed the crowds with performances at the American Music Awards, both showcasing the hottest new celeb trend for on-stage underwear.
J Lo kick-started an energetic rendition of her newest track Louboutins, wearing a gold stuctured furturistic frock - but halfway through her performance, whisked it off to reveal a racy lace number underneath.
Next up, and Lady Gaga was the second star of the night to hit the stage in her smalls, and was strutting her stuff in a wonderfully Gaga-esque ensemble of nude bra and knickers, covered with plastic bones.
And they're not the only stylish singers to have jumped on the underwear-as-outerwear trend of late - with everyone from Beyonce to Britney having eschewed cover-ups in favour of hold-ups.
Miss Knowles took to the stage at the MTV Europe Music Awards last month in a raunchy red leotard and suspenders, while Lady Gaga also opted for a racy rouge look during a recent television performance.
Similarly,Britney Spears' Circus tour sees her showing off her moves in a series of scantily-clad costumes, while Katy Perry took to the stage at V Festival in a jewel-encrusted bra and high-waisted hotpants.
