The sell-out Topshop sandal has been released in three new colours

Attention, this is not a drill. Topshop's sell-out sandal has not only been re-stocked, but it now comes in three new colours that will elevate your summer wardrobe big time.

The 'strippy' heeled sandal perfectly ticks this season's barely-there trend, and originally came in two colourways: the coral and the black, both of which have been selling out consistently since launching back in February.

Now three new styles have been added to the collection: yellow, snake print and off-white, the latter of which I reckon will be the most popular.

The reason this shoe has been so popular is simple: it's flattering, but more importantly it goes with everything.

A 90s-inspired silk slip dress? Sure. Straight jeans and a nice top? Yep. An oversized linen suit? Check, check, check.

Basically, it is the only shoe you'll need this summer, especially as the heel is so low you can wear it during the day too.

I personally have it in the two original colours and have already worn them to death, and the kitten heel makes them very easy to walk in too.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
