Miranda Kerr reveals her $2.5 million Victoria's Secret 'Fantasy' diamond bra

Miranda Kerr previewed the glittering $2.5 million 'Fantasy Bra' that she will strut down the catwalk at the Victoria's Secret lingerie show, yesterday.

The Australian beauty posed in New York with the $2.5 million diamond encrusted bra that she’ll model for the lingerie brand at the upcoming fashion show in November. 

Miranda Kerr has accepted her crown of Victoria's Secret Angel to wear the extravagant ‘Fantasy Bra’ on the Victoria Secret catwalk next month.

Reminding us why we have a serious girl-crush on the Australian model, Miranda, wore a strapless pink Michael Kors gown that showed off her svelte figure and lovely legs to perfection.

But the bra very nearly stole Miranda's limelight. With 3,400 gems hand-stitched into the piece it took London Jewellers, Long Island New York, more than 500 hours to make.

Made with diamonds, pearls, citrines and aquamarines encrusted into the push-up bra, plus a tassel centrepiece comprised of two 8-carat white diamonds and two yellow 14-carat diamonds, it will take centre stage with Miranda at the lingerie giant's show.

The 28-year-old told People magazine, 'It's such an honour to wear the bra! And it's such a piece of artwork! It's absolutely stunning - it kind of feels a little mermaid-like - but I can't believe I'm wearing $2.5 million on my chest.'

When asked how Miranda, who gave birth to her and Orlando Bloom's first son Flynn Bloom in January, stayed in shape, she said, 'I basically have been practising yoga for over 10 years and it’s what works for me. I eat super healthy and I take care of myself from the inside out.'

Miranda Kerr follows in the footsteps of supermodels Gisele Bunchen, Tyra Banks, Heidi Kulm and Karolina Kurkova who have all worn the ‘Fantasy Bra’.
