It's one of spring's hottest trends that's only set to get bigger next season, with Katy Perry the latest celeb to give the flapper girl look a go.
The superstar singer wore a 1920s-inspired ensemble from head-to-toe to attend the City of Hope Spirit of Life Awards 2012 in Los Angeles as the music and entertainment body honoured Bob Pittman, the founder of MTV.
Katy chose a copper-hued silk dress with slinky spaghetti straps, and lace and jewel detailing on the chest for her latest red carpet ensemble, which she accessorised with a pair of embellished pumps and a pearl necklace.

But the flapper girl look didn't end there. The pop star also wore her purple hair in soft Marcel waves held in place with a bejwelled headband, dramatic Jazz Age make-up and a feather in her hand.
Other famous faces attending the event, held at the The Geffen Contemporary at The Museum of Contemporary Art, included TV and radio host Ryan Seacrest and The Voice UK judge Will.i.am.
