Karl Lagerfeld is set to make a return to the film director's chair to shoot a Chanel mini movie starring Keira Knightley.
The fashion designer will direct the British actress, who is currently the face of the luxury label's Coco Mademoiselle perfume, in the short film in Paris later this week, which will be released to mark the 100th anniversary of the opening of the first Chanel boutique in the French seaside town of Deauville.

According to WWD, Keira will play legendary designer Coco Chanel in the new film and will star alongside the likes of French actress Clotilde Hemse, who will portray Chanel's aunt Adrienne, model Stella Tennant, music producer Caroline De Maigret and male catwalk star Brad Kroenig. The town of Deauville will also be recreated for the shoot with a retro set and film props.
The mini movie is set to be screened in May to coincide with Karl's trip to Singapore to present Chanel's next cruise collection. We can't wait to see it!
