From Alexa Chung, to Sienna Miller, to Nicole Kidman, Erdem’s client list reads like a who’s who of the world’s chicest starlets – he dresses only the girls with the best red carpet style game and, as a result, our red carpet rundown in the gallery above is full of the glossiest, most glamorous images.
As well as creating pretty separates and award-worthy confections, Erdem is also a master of power dressing. Clients from Michelle Obama to Sarah Brown have relied on his impeccably cut daywear for big presentations, proving that boardroom style should never be boring.
One of his first star clients turned superfans was Keira Knightley, who chose a tiered and pleated purple minidress for her Edge Of Love premiere back in 2008. Keira’s never looked back and has since worn Erdem dozens of times, referring to Mr Moralıoğlu as one of her favourite designers, and now, a friend.
Downton Abbey's Laura Carmichael was recently spotted wearing the designer at the Laurence Olivier Awards in April 2016. The former Lady Edith is a great fan of Erdem's romantic vintage-inspired designs, and is regularly seen donning his frocks on the red carpet.
