When the Christian Dior Bal Masqué guest list includes fashion veterans like Eva Herzigova, Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid, you know the fancy dress code will be taken to the next level.

Not a sexy Ann Summers get-up in sight at the ball last night, where celebrity guests opted for custom Dior couture gowns instead. Much more stylish we think you’ll agree.

Whimsical and magical was the ordre du jour, reflecting the Spring Summer 2017 show’s fairytale gowns earlier that day. Bella Hadid added her signature urban cool by layering a see-through embellished lilac gown over some boxer shorts.

Meanwhile, Kendall played it classic by channeling Audrey Hepburn in black polka dot gown with plunging neckline, prettily accessorised with a diamond sautoir necklace. A bold red lip and square sunglasses kept the look modern though – trust Kendall to avoid looking too old school.

Eva Herzigova went for the opposite end of the colour spectrum in a cut-out white gown, which she stopped from looking too safe thanks to a badass gem-encrusted mask which appeared to also feature a unicorn horn. Because why not?

Other stylish guests who mingled at the party included Natalia Vodianova, ASAP Rocky aka Kendall’s rumoured beau, and Chiara Ferragni, she of The Blonde Salad fame, whose strapless embroidered Dior gown was nothing short of perfect. Bravo.
