Dannii Minogue and Myleene Klass set to return to M&S ads

Marks & Spencer’s star-studded campaigns are back in new ad revamp
They were sensationally dropped from the Marks & Spencer womenswear campaign back in July last year, but Dannii Minogue and Myleene Klass are set to return to front the store’s new ads.
The high street giant decided to drop the glamorous star-studded commercials, which also featured the likes of Twiggy, Laura Bailey and V V Brown, for fear that they were alienating shoppers in the midst of a recession.
But the TV, press and billboard advertising revamp that focused on the clothes hasn’t paid off, and eight months later Dannii and Myleene have jetted off to South Africa with others including Twiggy, Lisa Snowdon and Noemie Lenoir to shoot the summer ads.

It’s understood that the new campaign will see the stars attending a tea party and will feature a version of the George Harrison-penned Beatles track, Here Comes the Sun, performed by Take That’s Gary Barlow – who will also make a surprise appearance in the ad.
Dannii tweeted from South Africa yesterday: ‘I did some filming in Cape Town, so UK tweet peeps should see me back on screen soon #Happy.’
