There’s nothing like a collaboration between two fashion greats to get our sartorial pulse racing and this latest one is sheer jean-ius – as Christopher Kane announces a joint venture with denim emporium J Brand as part of his Resort 2012 collection.

Kane first teamed up with J Brand as part of their 5x5 project to design a limited edition range in support of young British design talent, but his new venture will see him creating an entire jeanswear collection.

'I am very excited about my new working relationship with J Brand. We have the potential to grow a very strong denim business and are thrilled to be working with the best in the business,' says Kane.

The jeans will be available to buy in J Brand and Christopher Kane stockists early next year - so there's plenty of time to start saving your pennies for a pair of the best dressed legs in town.
