The actress has put the Prada gown she wore to the 2012 Costume Institute Gala up for auction for charity
The newlywed wore the gold and silver halter neck number with scale-like paillettes to co-chair the 2012 Costume Institute Gala in New York earlier this week, to celebrate the launch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s exhibition on Italian fashion designers Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada.
The custom-made piece was placed onto the auction site by the actress last night with a starting price of $500 (£310) to raise money for charity. The latest bid currently stands at $1,025 (£634), which for a bespoke Prada gown is an absolute steal in our eyes.
All proceeds from the sale will go to Oxfam America, which helps find solutions to poverty and injustice around the world.
Fancy placing a bid? If you’re a UK dress size 6 to 8, then it’s worth a shot. The bidding closes on Saturday 19th May.
