It’s thought Matt’s first solo single has sold close to a whopping 112,00 copies in just two days, after hitting stores just hours after his Sunday victory.
When We Collide is reportedly outselling its closest rivals – including Matt’s X factor duet partner Rihanna – by at least three to one, and has rocketed up the charts.
Which means the lucky star is well on the way to clinching Christmas number one.
Earlier this week Matt pledged to donate a portion of his winnings to the charity who helped him battle kidney cancer as a child.
