The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge use bikes to get around the capital, a spokesman for the royal couple has confirmed
We’re used to seeing the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge travelling the country in sleek black cars, or even on the odd occasion, a helicopter. But it seems when they’re not on royal duty, the pair prefer a more normal means of transport – bikes.
WILLIAM & KATE: ROMANCE IN PICTURES
According to Us Magazine, William and Kate love nothing more than cycling around Anglesey when staying near the Duke’s RAF base in Wales.
And as they spend more and more time in London, it seems the pair have taken to cycling around the capital, too.
Palace officials have confirmed William and Kate sometimes use the London Cycle Scheme’s ‘Boris bikes’ to get around, when they’re not on official duty.
A spokesman revealed: ‘The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge occasionally use the London cycle scheme bicycles to undertake private journeys around London.’
