  • The Duchess of Cambridge's style is the talk of fashion right now. See the latest legend to hail Kate Middleton as a certified style icon...

Kate Middleton has received praise from another fashion icon, with Twiggy sharing her thoughts on the Duchess of Cambridge’s likeness to Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne.

Just as Donatella Versace was lining up to dress the Duchess, and Kate continuing to top fashion polls the world over, Twiggy is the latest to confess her crush on Kate’s royal wardrobe.

‘I follow what she wears in the magazines just like everyone else, and she dresses beautifully,’ Twiggy tells Fashionista. ‘She’s stylish and classy, and always comes across as a really nice person – which I think is why she’s captured everyone’s heart.’

We couldn’t agree more. From K-Middy’s Alexander McQueen wedding dress, to delighful Mulberry coats and rails of Temperley and Jenny Packham frocks, Kate has continued to impress the fashion pack during her royal duties.

‘I think [Catherine is] wondering and I’m a great royalist,’ adds the 60s model. ‘I think they’re wonderful for the country and I think she’s gorgeous.’

Twiggy also hailed the new mum among Brit models Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne as the current stars of English style.

‘She can wear anything because she has a fantastic body,’ Donatella Versace told The Sunday Times, while thanking the ‘Duke and Duchess of Cambridge effect’ for the recent rise in couture sales.

It looks like the world’s obsession with Kate Middleton’s wardrobe is set to last for some time yet. Count us in.
