Victoria Beckham’s fashion empire is expanding online and to mark her arrival she’s released a video

Victoria Beckham’s foray into fashion knows no bounds as the designer unveils she’s venturing into virgin territory and launching an e-commerce site. The official unveiling will be next month but to whet our fashion (and shopping) appetites she’s released a teaser video.

While the flashing footage features models wearing Victoria Beckham we have the rare chance to hear the former Spice Girl speak.

Over quick montages of various shots, she says: ‘What do people expect of me, ummmmm, I think people expect the best.'

The new site promises to provide an online platform selling her accessories, eyewear, denim as well as the Victoria Beckham line. To keep us coming back regularly, like we needed an excuse, Victoria will be sharing behind-the-scenes videos of her world at work.

Speaking of her latest project she said: ‘My new website has been in the making for a very long time. It was so important that the concept, tone and look of it were true to me and my aesthetic and that the shopping experience was the very best that it could be for my customer.

‘The site will be ever evolving featuring never seen before insights into my world through the medium of film. I'm incredibly excited with what I have created and the unique access to the brand I am now able to offer.’
