‘@tomdaley1994 I think you are amazing! Will you teach me how to swan dive?’
The request was somewhat tongue in cheek following Cheryl Cole’s surprise swan dive off the stage when she performed on BBC1 talent show, The Voice UK earlier this year.

Cheryl's tweet to Tom comes after a tough time for the young diver who was subjected to Twitter abuse following his coming fourth place in the synchronized diving.
A 17-year-old man was arrested in relation to the abuse although the sportsman insists he is taking the incident in his stride.
