The actresses are all fighting for their place in the movie adaptation of Les Miserables, one of the most celebrated and dramatic stories of all time, to be directed by Oscar winner Tom Hooper.
The movie already boasts a star-studded cast including Anne Hathaway as the female lead Fantine, Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean and Russell Crowe taking on Inspector Javert. The list goes on with the brilliant Helena Bonham Carter as Madame Thenardier and Eddie Redmayne has been cast as Marius.
A source close to the film confirmed to the New York Post that the four actors have all already auditioned for the role. Glee beauty Lea Michele is thought to be the favourite having already played Young Cosette in Les Miserables on Broadway, and sources say she 'knocked it out of the park' during her audition for the movie.
In one of the toughest casting calls in recent times, Kings Speech director Hooper will have his work cut out choosing between the actresses as each star is said to bring their own qualities to the movie based on Victor Hugo's original novel.
