Britney Spears has taken on a few on-screen personalities thanks to her catalogue of music videos, but her latest isn’t the most flattering, according to X Factor US mastermind Simon Cowell.
Speaking yesterday at the premiere of the second series of the show, the Brit was asked to comment on how the singer faired as the new judge, he answered: ‘She’s the new Queen of Mean.’

But he didn’t stop there. As he stood outside of the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in LA, Simon was quick to reveal his crown as Mr Nasty was slipping.
After witnessing Britney’s constant put downs he added: ‘And everybody thinks I’m the mean one?’
And when the show’s judges weren’t bad mouthing each other they decided to get their hands dirty.

Britney and Simon’s co-judges, Demi Lovato and L.A Reid joined them as they cast their signatures and handprints in cement.
