  • The star is heading to Toronto next week to film Maps To The Stars for the summer – so what does that mean for his rumoured new girlfriend?

Robert Pattinson is jetting off to Toronto on Monday – and it’s unlikely he’ll be back any time soon.

The actor is heading to Canada for the rest of the summer to film his new movie Maps To The Stars, leaving everyone to question what will happen to his rumoured new girlfriend, Riley Keough.

It’s the second time Robert Pattinson will be shooting in Toronto with director David Cronenberg – back in the summer of 2011, the pair teamed up to film their hit movie Cosmopolis. This time, Rob will be sharing a set with Julianne Moore, John Cusack, Mia Wasikowkska and his old Cosmopolis co-star Sarah Gadon. So where does this leave Riley?

Rob‘s love life made headlines again this week when it was revealed that the mystery redhead he was spotted driving around LA with was Elvis Presley’s granddaughter, Riley Keough. Riley was seen sitting in the passenger seat of Rob’s red pick-up truck after the pair had bought a ping pong table together.

Riley has long been a part of Rob and Kristen Stewart’s friendship group, and even appeared in the Joan Jett biopic The Runaways with Kristen back in 2010. Awkward.

While it’s not clear if they’re actually an item, sources in Hollywood are going crazy over the rumoured new hook-up.
Rob spent three months apart from Kristen earlier this year when he packed his bags to film The Rover in Australia, so it’s unlikely Riley will go along for the ride this time, even if they are dating.

The plot summary for Maps To The Stars at eonefilms reads: ‘Led by the loathsome yet funny and touching child-star Benjie, we witness the convoluted world of shallow, selfish celebrities and their minions, all of whom are about to be manipulated and destroyed by the young woman who literally represents the fruit of their twisted machinations, Agatha, Benjie’s tormented, apparently psychotic sister.’

‘As much as it is a sharp, comic look at a vacant and corrupt world, Maps to the Stars is also a haunting ghost story.

So long, Rob. Hurry back… Riley isn’t the only one who’ll be missing you. Ahem.
