Robert Pattinson treats tramp to a new guitar

The musical Twilight actor did his good deed for the day while out and about in LA

We do love a celebrity good deed, especially when it involves none other than our favourite Twilight actor, Robert Pattinson.

Oh yes. The friendly hearthrob shot even higher in our estimation when we heard he’d treated a busking tramp to a brand new guitar, while out and about in LA.

According to ‘gobsmacked’ onlookers, lovely R-Patz – who’s made no secret of his wish for a music career - clocked the American tramp’s battered guitar as he dropped money in his collection tin during an outing in LA.

Instead of walking on by, Mr Pattinson clearly decided he should treat the busker to a brand new instrument, so made a detour to a nearby music store.

And just minutes later, he emerged clutching shiny red acoustic guitar for his new friend, and of course an electric one for himself.

After delivering his Random Act of Kindness for the day, Rob hopped back into his car, and speedily drove off.

‘We were gobsmacked when he handed the acoustic guitar to the tramp,’ holidaymaker Luke Jones told the Sun of the incident.
