Robert Pattinson’s Next Role Mimics His Own Life Story

The British actor has signed up for a part in Maps To The Stars about celebrity-obsessed culture

Robert Pattinson is venturing into new territory as he continues to pick diverse and difficult roles the latest of which has been confirmed in David Cronenberg’s upcoming project, Maps to the Stars.

The film will reunite Robert Pattinson with the Cosmopolis director but will also highlight the hounding he endures at the hands of the paparazzi. The plot is yet to be unveiled in detail but it’s believed it bears more than a resemblance to the Brit’s actual life.

The storyline focuses around celebrity culture and the public’s obsession with those in the limelight. Map to the Stars also addresses what the showbiz industry reveals about Western culture. It’s been described as an indie ghost story and will see Robert star alongside Julian Moore, John Cusack and Sarah Gordon.

It’s also been reported that Robert Pattinson, who will play Jerome, will have numerous sex scenes in a similar manner to Cosmopolis.

Filming was rumoured to start as early as May although it’s thought to have been pushed back until July. Either way we hope the film and Robert’s arrival in cinemas isn’t too far away!
