Could Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart be about to be reunited in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie? Well, not if the author, E L James, has anything to do with it.

Speculation as to who will take on the roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the film version of the hugely successful novel, Fifty Shades of Grey, as reached a whole new level.

While it's been reported that Ryan Gosling is the favourite to play the lead character, many fans of both the book by E L James and the Twilight Saga, would love to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart cast as Steele and Grey.

Sorry folks, but it ain't going to happen.

The author of the bestselling book has confirmed that she doesn't want Rob and Kristen to star in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie.

'I think it would be strange,' EL told RedCarpetNewsTV. 'It would just be… uggh! Weird!'

The author said she has a short list off four men she sees as Christian and about three as Anastasia.

'I’m not telling anyone what they are because I’m not allowed to discuss the movie at all which is a real shame,' she said.

'Things are moving quite slowly on that but hopefully… it’s such fun and so hopefully after we’ve put a few things in place, it will all start to move on. We’ve still got to get the producers in place then deal with the script and all that. The actual film is a long way down the line.'
