Robert Pattinson only split from Kristen Stewart last week – so what's he doing at a wedding rehearsal with Katy Perry?
Robert Pattinson may not be as devastated about his recent break-up from Kristen Stewart as we initally thought. The Twilight actor has been spotted with the former couple's mutual friend Katy Perry... at a wedding rehearsal in Santa Barbara.
While the world weeps at the prospect of Rob walking down the aisle, it turns out that the stars probably aren't planning to tie the knot themselves (phew), but were in fact witnessing the rehearsal nuptials between two strangers.
Guest Stephanie Sands tells People.com: "Katy and Rob were just sitting next to each other watching the wedding rehearsal in the main courtyard area. They were dressed very casually.
"She was wearing a hoodie and big sunglasses. There was no PDA between them and no body language that showed they were dating. They just sat together and watched."

She added: "They were not affiliated with the wedding party and were not seen mingling with guests."
How bizarre. Affectionate or not, we can't imagine that Kristen will be too pleased with Rob's choice of company.
The rehearsal was taking place at the San Ysidro Ranch, which isn't far from where Katy grew up. So it sounds like the Wide Awake singer is attempting to take Rob under her wing and distract him from the break-up.
Last week, the actor was spotted moving out of the LA home he shared with Kristen following a rocky few months and according to sources, Katy thinks it's for the best.
A friend told Life & Style magazine last week: "Katy never really supported Rob's decision to get back with Kristen. She always said they wouldn't last.
"Katy told Rob she didn't think their relationship could withstand the cheating scandal. And he deserved better than someone who would destroy a family [like Rupert's]."
R-Patz and K-Pez? It does have a nice ring to it…
