The real reason Vogue Williams won't be at Pippa Middleton's wedding

She's cleared things up once and for all

She's cleared things up once and for all

Ever since news of Pippa Middleton's engagement to James Matthews emerged, everyone's been talking about who will (and won't) make the guest list to their wedding.

From her sister, Kate Middleton's involvement, to her niece and nephew Prince George and Princess Charlotte's roles, and why Meghan Markle might not be at the wedding, tongues have been a-wagging from day one.

One person who is reportedly not on the guest list? TV and Radio personality, Vogue Williams – which is kind of surprising considering that she's dating the groom's brother, Made in Chelsea's Spencer Matthews.

While there were rumours that she had been 'banned' from next month's ceremony, a representative for Williams has confirmed the real reason why she won't be in attendance.

'Vogue has a prior engagement in her diary on the date of the wedding, but she wishes Pippa and James all the best on their special day' they told OK! Online.

That clears that up, then.

While we recently reported there's likely a 'no bling, no bring' policy in place (meaning plus ones are only allowed if they're a fiancé or spouse), we're still holding out hope that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will attend Pippa's big day together as an exception to the rule.

Pippa and James' wedding will take place next month on the 20th May.
