Prince William welcomed Prince Charles to Anglesey, but the Duchess of Cornwall and Duchess of Cambridge stayed away
Prince William spent the day yesterday proudly giving his father, Prince Charles, a tour of the RAF base he works at in Anglesey.
Prince Charles, who was kicking off his annual four-day tour of Wales with the Duchess of Cornwall, was greeted by his son, the Duke of Cambridge, at RAF Valley.
After a brief delay due to a badly injured walker that had to be rescued and flown to hospital, Prince William showed Prince Charles around the base and gave him a tour of a Sea King search and rescue helicopter.
Earlier in the day, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall attended a thanksgiving service at the historic cathedral in St Asaph and officially opened the new Bodnant Welsh Food Centre in the picturesque Conwy Valley.
The Duchess of Cornwall didn't attend the royal visit to the RAF base, while it's thought that the Duchess of Cambridge is still in London after watching the Wimbledon final on Sunday.
