Pinterest boards at the ready… Britney Spears has put her mansion on the market and, folks, the décor is something to swoon over.
The California property, situated in the exclusive Thousand Oaks neighbourhood, sprawls over 8,456 square feet, with almost an acre of grounds - and it can be yours for keeps if you have a spare $8.9 million.
Featuring five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, the hacienda-style home is all set on one storey, with a neutral colour palette running throughout. Britney’s taste comes through in features like statement rugs, iron chandeliers, boudoir sofas and enormous vintage-style mirrors.
There’s a cosy cinema room, an office, an indoor bar, an outdoor bar and an enormous marble kitchen (plus the world’s biggest pantry) that we’re a little bit in love with.
The master walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom (complete with Jacuzzi bath) is our favourite room of the house, though – on its own it’s probably bigger than our entire flat.
The views are pretty incredible too, with floor-to-ceiling windows providing 180-degree views of the Santa Monica Mountains. Outside, there’s a flower garden, an outdoor kitchen, a stunning pool area and a vegetable garden – all with unblocked access to that vista. We can totally imaging Britney out there tending to her tomatoes when she’s not on stage in Vegas.
