The Hunger Games: Catching Fire may not be hitting UK cinemas until November, but to help kill the long wait new promotional pictures of the key characters have been released, and we’re impressed. JENNIFER LAWRENCE STARS IN NEW HUNGER GAMES POSTER
Earlier this week we shared the official image of Jennifer Lawrence in character as Katniss Everdeen clad in a cream feathered dress. Today we’ve got our hands on the rest of the collection including Effie Trinket, played by Elizabeth Banks. Her Capitol couture involved endless fuchsia pink ruffles with a matching pink rinse in her hair – it may be cartoony but we love it.
Lenny Kravitz revives his role as Cinna for the second installment of The Hunger Games where he appears seated and dressed in leathers. Woody Harrelson continues his laid back look as Haymitch Abernathy, while Stanley Tucci stands loud and proud in a silk brocade suit complete with gold accents. THE HUNGER GAMES PREMIERE PICTURES
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire sees Katniss and Peeta embark on a victory tour of the districts but they soon become aware of murmurings of a revolution as preparations for the 75th hunger games begin.
