Liz Hurley was pretty in pink at the Breast Cancer Awareness evening in London

Polished pair Elizabeth Hurley and Shane Warne put on a (not so rare PDA) as they hit the red carpet at a charity bash in aid of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in New York last night.

The theme of the party may have been hot pink, but Liz dared to be different, reaching to the back of her designer closet for a suitably glam pale pink asymmetric gown to make her grand entrance.

Liz and Shane were joined at the charity bash by a host of famous fashion faces, including Michael Kors, Vera Wang and Donna Karen, as well as Elton John, who provided the evening's entertainment, and Victoria's Secret beauty Erin Heatherton.

At the end of the evening, Liz took to Twitter to thank guests, gushing: ‘Massive thanks to everyone there tonight,' she wrote. 'Elton played so beautifully and we raised over 5 million dollars xxx.’

Liz and Shane's appearance comes just weeks after they spilled the beans on their upcoming nuptials, taking place in not one, but two countries next year.

'We are very mindful of the fact that our loved ones live at opposite ends of the world,' Shane told Hello! magazine of the ceremonies, which will be held in England and Australia.
