Celebrity snapper Hugo Burnand will be responsible for capturing the couple’s special day
With just over a week to go until the wedding of the century, Clarence House have announced the name of the photographer who will capture William and Kate’s special day – none other than celebrity snapper Hugo Burnand.
THE ROYAL WEDDING: ALL THE DETAILS
The famous photographer has photographed Lucien Freud, Margaret Thatcher, Victoria Beckham and even Prince William in the past, and was also the official photographer at the wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla in 2005.
It’s thought Burnand will be responsible for shooting the royal couple's official photos as well as all the action from the special day on April 29th.
No pressure there, then.
Royal insiders have revealed the photographer – who has also snapped for Homes & Gardens and Tatler- is a favourite with the royal family, and was chosen for his 'discretion, spontaneity and charm'

Earlier this week Clarence House unveiled plans for an official wedding programme, which will be available for download online, 24-hours before William and Kate’s big day.
The special souvenir programme is adorned with both William and Kate's coats of arms (naturally) and will include an order of service, a never before seen picture of the pair and a special message from the royal couple themselves.
