Nicole Scherzinger braves the cold in leather to visit X Factor’s James Arthur’s home

Nicole Scherzinger headed to Yorkshire on a trip to the finalist’s hometown

Nicole Scherzinger isn’t au fait with our frosty winters but she’s somewhat managed to master dressing for them as she made the X Factor pilgrimage to James Arthur’s Yorkshire home.

Clad in an all-black look the X Factor judge fought off the northern chill in leather trousers and a biker jacket worn with platform wedge boots and a faux fur trimmed hat. As she toured the town of Saltburn, North Yorkshire, she got some extra warmth as she linked arms with the show’s finalist.

While it appears Nicole has mentored James the perfect way as he’s secured himself a slot on the X Factor final, she may need to advise him better on dressing for the weather - he looked cold wearing just a leather jacket worn open with a scarf.

The duo arrived in serious style riding two Harley-Davidson motorbikes and Nicole’s even featured a heated seat.

After a meet and greet with fans, James showed the American star his local pub, The Victoria, and had a drink before they took a tour of the pier at Saltburn-by-the-sea.

James finished things off with a gig that evening in nearby Middlesbrough – doing his very best to drum up support ahead of this weekend’s final. Nicole joined him on stage sporting a Middlesbrough FC shirt, paying homage to the town.
