TV execs have reportedly got their eye on the First Lady to host a chat show, should President Obama lose the election this week
She's made more television appearances than any other First Lady, and now it seems we could be seeing a bit more of Michelle Obama on the small screen.
According to reports TV bosses have their eye on Mrs Obama to host a new chat show, should the President lose in the US election tomorrow.
'Personally I would like to see her in the White House,' said Hilary Estey McLoughlin, president of the company behind the Ellen DeGeneres show.
'But if she were not going to be in the White House, I'd love to see her as the host of a show. She's amazing.'
McLoughlin added: 'She reminds me of Oprah Winfrey as someone who has the ability to make people understand complex things in a simple way.'
Another show exec, former CNN president Jon Klein revealed he also thought Michelle Obama had a career in television waiting for her if her husband loses office.
'Daytime syndicators are desperate for a new voice and she is tailor made for it, ' he told TV Guide magazine.
'She’s thoughtful. She’s committed. She’s a working mom. She’d be a strong voice on issues important to her.'
