The French star was honoured on Thursday in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a special parade before being presented with the ceremonial pudding pot.

Marion Cotillard, who was dressed in a dogtooth print coat, got fully involved into the spirit of things, laughing along as she was transported in a white convertible flanked by two students in fancy dress. She even took to the stage to take part in the theatrical show.

The award is now an annual affair organized by Hasty Pudding Theatricals who are America’s oldest undergraduate drama troupe. The award honours people who have made a ‘lasting and impressive’ contribution to entertainment.
