Lindsay Lohan has blamed her intense filming schedule for the collapse
Actress Lindsay Lohan was rushed to hospital on Friday after collapsing in her LA hotel room due to exhaustion and dehydration.
The star took to Twitter to explain why paramedics were called to her aid at the Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey and joked that the medical personnel should at least be ‘cute’.
The Twitter message posted early on Saturday morning read: ‘Note to self: After working 85 hours in 4 days, and being up all night shooting, be very aware that you might pass out from exhaustion and 7 paramedics might show up at your door.’
She added: ‘Hopefully they’re cute. Otherwise it would be a real let down’.
According to TMZ, medical officers arrived at the scene after Lindsay called the Liz & Dick production team and complained about feeling unwell.
In his statement on Friday, Lohan’s spokesman, Steve Honig, said the actress had been taking a nap and that producers called paramedics out of concern when she did not emerge from her room on Friday morning. When paramedics arrived on the scene, they reportedly determined that the star was ‘ok’.
Lindsay Lohan was back on set of her latest film ‘Liz and Dick’ the following day.
