Kristen Stewart à la Karl Lagerfeld is a sight you want to see, trust us...

Kristen Stewart has stepped into the seriously fashionable shoes of Karl Lagerfeld's latest muse, posing for a stunning new Chanel campaign styled by the mastermind himself.

Draped in crafted pieces inspired by Americana, the actress' folky look was perfected by the Parisian fashion team for their Chanel Métiers d’Art collection.

Shimmering in patriotic stars and striples with lashings of black kohl under her eyes and an edgy plaited quiff, Kristen made quite the departure from her usual look for the label's latest luxe line.

The uber-glamorous shots also saw the 24-year-old in classic Texan togs with Chanel's creative director styling her up in cowboy boots, western fringing, silk Dallas style shirts, bejewelled ponchos and sexy leathers. Well, if Karl asks...

Speaking about her experience with the 80-year-old style supremo, the Twilight star said: 'The [photo shoot] was effortless and he's awesome and he's so sweet.'

'The only intimidating thing about [Karl] really is that scary unapproachable facade which is something people project onto him I think.'

Now Kristen's officially joined the fash-pack, here are 6 things we can learn from this very reluctant style icon.
